Located in Linping district in Hangzhou, E-fashion Town has for the first time been ranked as among the seven industries in Zhejiang province with an output value exceeding 1 trillion yuan ($141 billion).

Designed to elevate Zhejiang's fashion industry, the town has the advantage of being located near towns and cities like Shaoxing, Haining, Tongxiang and Huzhou, which are known for their light textiles, leatherware, knitwear and silk fabrics respectively.

The town is currently planning to empower its livestreaming economy by developing a complete business environment integrating livestreaming hosts, goods, multi-channel network (MCN) companies and consumers within the next three years.

A maker's space measuring 1.28 million square meters has been set up to bolster the development of the industry. Authorities expect the space to host five pioneering platforms, 10 film and TV culture companies, 100 MCN institutions and 1,000 livestreaming hosts in the coming years.

The town also boasts comprehensive links to surrounding areas. For instance, it is only 20 kilometers away from downtown Hangzhou and 30 km away from Hangzhou International Airport. In addition, the town lies at the intersection of the Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway and Hangzhou metro line 1.
