New energy and low carbon on tap for Ningxia, says NPC Deputy

The Ningxia Delegation at the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) held its third press conference in Beijing, capital of China on Sunday. According to Li Yuhua, NPC deputy and spokesperson of the delegation, Ningxia will focus on the development of new energy and fostering green and low-carbon development.

He mentioned that Ningxia will focus on reducing carbon emissions, carbon elimination, and carbon fixation, promote the upgrading of green and intelligent industrial technologies, accelerate the construction of low-carbon transportation systems, vigorously develop energy-saving and low-carbon buildings, and promote green and low-carbon development in urban and rural areas.
