Linping breaks ground on slew of projects, signs up others
The Linping district of Hangzhou city – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – on March 21 held a groundbreaking ceremony for a slew of major projects, as well as a cloud signing ceremony.
Twelve big projects costing 8.9 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) broke ground that day: six infrastructure projects, three industrial projects, two public services projects and a major commercial and residential project.
Also on the day, 35 projects worth 6.3 billion yuan signed up to settle in Linping. They include nine digital economy projects, 12 advanced manufacturing projects, five common prosperity projects and four cultural industry projects.
In addition, in order to strengthen innovation and deepen links between universities and local enterprises, Linping also signed a strategic cooperation project with Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.
To strengthen financial support and promote commerce between government, banks and businesses, the district signed off on three bank-enterprise cooperation projects – including a cooperation agreement with the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, Zhejiang Branch.
