Jinyun county – administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – recently found some new innovative ways to tell the county's stories.
A so-called "elevator culture" has sprung up in Jinyun. In the elevators of the Jinyun government building, pictures with inspiring slogans have been hung on the walls.
The pictures showcase local rural vitalization, intangible cultural heritage, and key foreign-funded enterprises, among other things, while the slogans mainly come from speeches by the county's leaders.
According to officials, the "elevator culture" effort is about more than just decoration, it is intended to inspire government workers.
