China Science and Technology Human Resource Development Study 2020 to be issued at 2022 China Forum of Science and Technology Think Tanks

China Science and Technology Human Resource Development Study 2020 will be officially launched at the 2022 China Forum of Science and Technology Think Tanks. The study was completed by the National Academy of Innovation Strategy in collaboration with relevant experts and scholars. It is one of the brand achievements of the high-end science and technology innovation think tank of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).
The study has been published in seven series since 2005, including national strategies related to scientific and technological talents and content related to economic development and industrial policies, which have provided strong support for work related to scientific and technological talents and decision-making in scientific and technological fields. With years of efforts, the study has become an indispensable reference for governments, educators and think tanks to learn about scientific and technological talents.
China Science and Technology Human Resource Development Study 2020 is the 7th part of this series. It covers the current total number and structure of scientific and technological human resources in China, summarizes the characteristics of development and change in human resources for science and technology in China since 2005, depicts the development of China’s scientific and technological human resources in the future and puts forward suggestions for promoting their sustainable development. The study has important reference significance in fully playing the advantages of China’s human resources in new circumstances, transforming talent potential into development momentum, inspiring the innovation vitality and potential of talents and building a world key talent center and innovation highland.
