Ningxia promotes construction and reform of workforce

On Aug 25, a conference on industrial worker team construction and reform was held in Yinchuan, Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

The conference summarized the achievements, experience and practices of Ningxia's industrial workforce construction and reform in the past five years.

Five units, including the Ningxia Education Department, the Human Resources and Social Security Department, and Shizuishan city, made speeches at the meeting, and seven units exchanged their written experiences.

Wu Baojun, deputy director of the Ningxia Department of Education, said that in the past five years, the Ningxia Department of Education has trained more talents for the high-quality development of Ningxia's industries, and has accelerated the growth of the industrial workforce through improving the system, integrating production and education, school-enterprise cooperation, talent training and vocational training.

The Ningxia Human Resources and Social Security Department launched "Five Measures" to cultivate skilled talents. They are: innovating training methods, broadening career channels, improving the treatment level, optimizing the ratings and incentives of skilled talents, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of skilled talents.
