Ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit, the WIC Representative Symposium was held on November 8, in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province.
The symposium, the first member representative meeting since the inauguration of the WIC international organization, aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between the conference and members.
Over 30 member representatives from international organizations, global internet leading enterprises, authoritative industry organizations, and industry organizations were invited to participate in the symposium.

At the symposium, officials from eleven enterprises, including Tesla, Qualcomm, Nokia, Kaspersky, China Unicom, JD.com, Sohu, Netease, Qihoo 360, Kuaishou and Tang West Market, held an in-depth exchange of views on such issues as the opportunities and challenges of the global internet and the WIC's future development.
They noted that with the continuous deepening of exchanges and cooperation in the global internet field, the role of the Chinese market has become increasingly prominent. The industry calls for a stronger willingness to jointly advance global cooperation and pursue win-win cooperation with an even stronger determination.
As an important platform for exchanges among governments, international organizations and enterprises the WIC will provide more development opportunities for the global internet industry.
