Shanghai FTZ hosts first art fair

The first Shanghai FTZ Art Season kicked off on Oct 12, 2021 at the International Bonded Artwork Service Center, enabling exhibitors to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) to approach potential buyers in advance.

More than 200 artworks valued at 300 million yuan ($46.94 million) were brought to China by 16 galleries from nine countries and regions, and were exhibited at the art fair.

As a supporting event for the fourth CIIE, the fair took advantage of the policy benefits, professional services and facilities for art trading in the Shanghai FTZ, and introduced more overseas galleries and art institutions to the CIIE.
