Entrance clearance time significantly cut in Shanghai FTZ

In 2018, Shanghai authorities carried out 17 measures to improve the business environment for cross-border trade at ports, and cut the time for clearance of goods by half.

In addition, Shanghai Customs started the classified management of relevant companies on May 1, 2018. The declaration examination rate for companies with high credit was under 20 percent, and that for companies with general credit was under 50 percent.

At Shanghai FTZ ports, the clearance time of goods for sea shipment was cut to two days, and that for air transport was cut to two hours.
