Foreign students get closer look at Jinyun
A group of 40 overseas students from over 10 countries – including Russia, Ukraine, the US, Zambia and Zimbabwe – as well as 10 students from the Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communications in Beijing, visited Jinyun county in Lishui city, in East China's Zhejiang province, on Feb 1-3.
They experienced the profound culture in Jinyun of Huangdi, legendary ancestor of the Chinese nation who is believed to have been the sovereign of a united China around 5,000 years ago. They did so by visiting the Xiandu Scenic Area where the Huangdi worship ritual takes place every year.
They also visited the Shuangmian Noodle Museum and the Heyang Ancient Dwellings, getting a complete picture of the local rural vitalization.
