Industry expo in Hohhot plots path for dairy sector
Experts, academics and leaders of the dairy industry attended the 16th Inner Mongolia Dairy Expo and Summit Forum – opening on March 26 in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – to discuss the future of the sector.
The three-day expo is showcasing the innovation and development achievements and experience of Inner Mongolia's dairy industry – and sharing new technologies, new products and new applications.
Also, it is expected to provide the industry supply chain with the latest in equipment, processing and packaging, as well as to promote exchanges and cooperation in cutting-edge dairy technology.
At the dairy industry summit forum, participants included experts from China Agricultural University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, as well as the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
They shared more than 20 technical reports, focusing on hot issues such as the analysis of the development prospects of the dairy industry, the immune prevention of pasture diseases, the economics of agriculture and animal husbandry and the digitalization of pastures.
This year's dairy expo has attracted the participation of 236 companies from all provinces and cities across the country, with an exhibition area covering 12,000 square meters and 12,742 visitors reported on the first day.
