Wenzhou residents enjoy summer nightlife in myriad of ways

On hot summer nights, more and more people in Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province are taking to the streets to experience the night life. They stroll around the night markets, taste delicious food, watch outdoor movies, and seek out cool getaways. The night economy has become a new engine driving the city's economic growth, local media reported.

At Longwan Wanda Plaza, 1,200 meters of night markets ignite the moonlight economy. Wanda Plaza has been organizing a different market every year since 2020, attracting more than 50,000 visitors daily and over 100,000 visitors during holidays.
