In the process of building and laying out its substantial industrial dairy parks, the Mengniu Group – headquartered in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – has developed the 40,000-head and cutting-edge Horinger dairy industry park.

This facility comprises four major ranches, including the modern animal husbandry Zhengyuan complex which houses 10,000 head of cattle alone.

In recent years, the Mengniu Group has established more than 10 dairy industry clusters across the country – including the Mengniu China Dairy Industry Park Horinger Milk Capital Core Area and the Horinger model - injecting strong momentum into the dairy industry's revitalization.

Currently, the Horinger Milk Capital Core Area has built eight modern ranches with a design capacity of 96,000 head of cattle. It has also planned and constructed the 40,000-head Mengniu China Dairy Industry Park Horinger dairy industry park.

The company says this promotes the creation of a "combined breeding, fertilizer return, energy-saving and environmentally friendly" green and circular dairy farming comprehensive demonstration park.

The modern 10,000-head Zhengyuan animal husbandry ranch in the Mengniu China Dairy Industry Park is one of them.

Overall, the innovative construction of dairy bases in Hohhot by the Mengniu Group is said to have greatly contributed to the high-quality development of the local dairy industry – showcasing the company's commitment to modernizing dairy farming and promoting sustainable practices.

The initiative is also said to reflect the group's focus on building a robust and eco-friendly dairy sector. By integrating cutting-edge technologies and embracing a green and circular approach, it is felt that the Mengniu Group is leading the way in transforming the dairy sector and promoting its revitalization.

With the completion of the Horinger dairy industry park and other related projects, the future of the dairy industry in Hohhot is seen to look promising – and it is expected to further enhance the city's reputation as a key player in the Chinese dairy sector.
