2023 Ningxia Household Appliance Repair Service Vocational Skills Competition held

The 2023 Ningxia Household Appliance Repair Service Vocational Skills Competition wrapped up on August 23, at the Ningxia Federation of Trade Unions building.

Over 200 participants from Yinchuan, Wuzhong, Guyuan, Shizuishan, and Zhongwei showcased their expertise after a month-long event that included rigorous selection rounds. After five rounds and a thrilling final competition, 18 winners emerged across three categories: electronic product (TV) repair, washing machine repair, and refrigeration and air conditioning system installation and repair.

The competition aimed to further enhance the skills and capabilities of industry professionals, instill a sense of professional belonging and pride among those engaged in household service industries, boost the industry's social reputation, and promote excellence in household appliance repair services to enhance people’s quality of life.

The competition key issues in Ningxia’s household appliance after-sales service industry, including poor management, varying service standards, fee discrepancies, and insufficient resources. Through the ongoing Ningxia Household Appliance After-Sales Service Enhancement Action, a detailed assessment will be conducted to compile the "Ningxia Household Appliance After-Sales Service Current Status Blue Book" by the end of the year. The action plan for enhancing household appliance after-sales service in Ningxia will be timely introduced and implemented, incorporating innovative initiatives.

The competition served as a platform for nurturing and selecting outstanding talents in the Ningxia household appliance repair service industry who possess exceptional skills, good professional ethics, and extensive practical experience. By showcasing the industry's skill levels and positive image to the public through the competition, the event sought to drive the healthy and standardized development of the household appliance repair service sector in Ningxia.
