British companies show up at CHTF

A number of leading British companies are showcasing their latest products and technologies to Chinese innovators at the China Hi-Tech Fair or CHTF – currently being held in Shenzhen city in South China’s Guangdong province.

That's promoting commercial exchanges and collaboration between the technology industries of the United Kingdom and China at the fair, which opened on Nov 15.

ViviQ is a UK-based company that offers solutions for computer-generated holography.

Its products allow customers to integrate true holographic displays into various consumer electronics, such as wearable AR devices and head-up displays – generating the highest image quality and lowest power requirements in real-time, computer-generated holography.

Currently, VividQ's products are being used by global technology companies at different stages of their device development process and the business has also established a wide partner ecosystem.

Elsewhere, Nextgen offers advanced automated interoperability testing services for diverse industries – including automotive, consumer electronics, internet of things, healthcare and silicon platforms.

Established in 2019, Phantom Technology is dedicated to creating the most powerful augmented reality operating system for hardware original equipment manufacturers or OEMs. 

The Phantom operating system offers a spatial AI assistant called CASSI on AR glasses and the software development kit Phantom Engine to developers to help them build advanced AR applications by using real-world data.

Calnex – established in 2006 – designs, manufactures and sells network synchronization and simulation testing instruments and solutions to support performance testing and validation of telecom network infrastructure.

It's been awarded the prestigious title of "Exporter of the Year" by the China-Britain Business Council.
