Shenzhen's IP achievements highlighted at CHTF

Seventeen enterprises and institutions from Shenzhen are showcasing their intellectual property achievements at the China National IP Administration exhibition area at the ongoing China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF).

MGI Tech brings its optical system for a gene sequencer, which won the golden award of the 24th China Patent Award, while Shenzhen Riland Industry Group is exhibiting its self-developed inverter welding and cutting machines, automatic welding products, and protective articles.

The China (Shenzhen) IP Protection Center and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences that can offer IP service are also displaying at the exhibition.

By the end of June, the number of high-value invention patents in Shenzhen reached 159,341, an increase of 9.17 percent compared with the end of 2022. The city won 97 awards at the 24th China Patent Award, accounting for 10.36 percent of the nation's total.

It has created 43 high-value patent cultivation centers, and built 23 IP alliances, ranking first in Guangdong province.
