Ulan Muqir art troupe challenges 'Subject Three' at Liangcheng Ski Resort
To welcome the approaching 14th National Winter Games, the Ulan Muqir art troupe from Ulaanqab city recently performed a dance called "Subject Three" at its Liangcheng Ski Resort, a competition venue for the games.
The dance, originating from a traditional wedding ceremony held recently in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, gained popularity after guests showcased their moves.
Jokingly associated with Guangxi residents having to pass three life subjects – singing folk songs, eating rice noodles, and dancing – the dance has become the latest internet sensation on social media platforms both in China and abroad.
