Freestyle dual moguls event concludes in Zhalantun venue
The freestyle moguls event of the 14th National Winter Games concluded on Feb 19 at the Jinlong Mountain Ski Resort in the game's Zhalantun venue.
The day saw fierce competition in the women's and men's freestyle dual moguls events.
In the women's event, Heilongjiang athlete Yang Ya, displayed remarkable prowess and smoothly clinched the top prize with a significant lead.
Jointly trained by Jilin and Inner Mongolia, athlete Zhang Yixin secured the silver medal, while Guangdong athlete Li Ruilin claimed the bronze.
Yang Ya had previously won a silver medal in the women's individual moguls event on Feb 18.
"This is my first participation in the National Winter Games. It's incredibly exciting to win a gold and a silver medal. In the upcoming training sessions and competitions, I will continue to give it my all," said Yang.
In the men's event, Henan athlete Fu Junyi claimed gold, with Zhejiang athlete Wang Renda narrowly securing the second place, and Jilin athlete Zhang Hao securing the third.
Speaking about his future goals, Fu Junyi stated, "I hope to continuously surpass myself and strive to secure rankings for the Chinese team on the international stage."
