Inner Mongolia achieves best-ever performance at National Winter Games

The Inner Mongolia delegation achieved its best-ever performance by securing 18 gold, 17 silver, and 24 bronze medals at the recently-concluded 14th National Winter Games, which was held in Inner Mongolia from Feb 17 to 27.
According to Zhang Xin, deputy secretary-general of the 14th Winter Games Organizing Committee, this edition of the National Winter Games saw teams competing on provincial, autonomous regional and municipal levels for the first time.

Among the 35 participating athletic delegations, 26 secured gold medals, and 30 earned medals. The number of delegations winning medals at this year's games significantly increased when compared to previous events.
