The Hanzhong-Bazhong-Nanchong High-Speed Railway covers the revolutionary areas in Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces and also the Qinling and Daba mountains, with a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Once completed, it will become a convenient route connecting the Chengdu Plain Economic Zone with the Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone, playing an important role in improving the intercity railway network in the Chengdu-Chongqing region and building a new passenger route connecting Sichuan to other regions.
