Sinotruk launches open day event for Intl Workers' Day

Sinotruk held an open day event in Jinan, Shandong province on May 1 to celebrate the International Workers' Day.

The event invited employees and their families to have a chance to experience the changes the group has made in advancing reform and development. Tan Xuguang, Party secretary and chairman of Sinotruk, participated in the event.

Tan expressed his gratitude to the employees' family members for their long-term support of the work of Sinotruk, and extended Sinotruk's best wishes to them. He also encouraged model workers to make persistent efforts to create more brilliant achievements.

Tan said that, in the past five years of restructuring and reform, Sinotruk has made great progress. The market share of its heavy trucks has ranked first among domestic enterprises in the same industry for two consecutive years. Heavy truck exports of Sinotruk have continuously set a new record.

The event had a total of 15 activity areas, attracting more than 4,000 people to participate, including model workers and their family members, representatives of craftsmen, technicians and their family members, young employees, and new employees.
