In Yongtai county in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, an innovative venture called the Golden Egg Project is widely said to be reshaping the traditional approach to duck farming. 

Instead of relying on ponds and streams, this project utilizes an innovative method of automated and intelligent cage farming, where ducks are raised without the need for traditional water sources.

The state-of-the-art technology monitors and controls environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and odors within the duck houses in real-time.
