After a month-long trial, the Yongtai plum flagship store, selling a premium and much-loved farm produce brand from Yongle county in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, officially opened at Fuzhou Changle International Airport.

As an extension of the Yongtai Farm Produces Hall, it's designed to extend the reach of Yongtai county's distinctive agricultural products to a broader market.

With an investment of 1.8 million yuan ($253,000), the store aims to leverage the passenger flow and brand influence of the airport to provide a platform for showcasing and selling Yongtai's high-quality agricultural products.

Moreover, it will offer consumers a comprehensive platform to purchase and taste the county's premium agricultural products, such as crispy plums, plum cakes, green plum wine and tea.

Store manager Huang Xiaofang said that the flagship store combined core functions such as displays and sales, brand building and e-commerce.

This was crucial for expanding the brand influence of Yongtai's agricultural products, extending the industry supply chain, as well as developing and strengthening the collective economy at the village level, effectively increasing the incomes of local farmers.

In addition to physical stores, Yongtai Farm Produces Hall has actively utilized live streaming and online ordering to establish a specialized platform, known as internet + agricultural products, which aims to contribute to the overall sales and promotion of premium-quality agricultural products.

In recent years, the Yongtai Farm Produces Hall has been actively exploring what's called an "enterprise (cooperative) + poverty alleviation household + market" model.

This integrates agricultural products, facilitating the coordination of production and sales between cooperatives and farmers and achieving both profitability for enterprises and increased incomes for farmers.
