Refreshing Summer drinks made from Yongtai green plums

Every year, during the ripe season of green plums in Yongtai county, many local families use green plums to make refreshing summer drinks.
After washing large green plums with yellow skin, spread a layer of fine salt on the bottom of the container, followed by an evenly distributed layer of green plums on top. This process is repeated until the container is full.
The container is then sealed and placed in a cool location to ferment for at least half a month. After removing the pits, the green plums are crushed using a broken wall machine. A small amount is taken out and mixed with sugar water or honey water. Ice cubes can also be added and evenly stirred for consumption.
It is known that green plums contain a high concentration of organic acids, which not only taste good, are cooling, and reduce greasy buildup effects, but also help regulate the digestive tract.
