Duck egg producer Yongtai County Golden Egg Development Co Ltd, also known as Yongtai Golden Egg, located in Danyun township in Yongtai county, in East China's Fujian province, is a farming company that is on the move towards mechanized expansion.
Boasting six duck houses capable of housing around 650,000 ducks, the company is expected to reach daily egg production of about 500,000 eggs by December this year.
Transitioning from traditional manual farming to high mechanization, its operations, including feeding, watering, waste removal and egg collection, are now fully automated and controllable at Yongtai Golden Egg.
On-site manager Xu Jianhua shows visitors a spot on a monitoring screen, where newly laid duck eggs can be seen rolling down a slope into a mechanized egg collection area, reducing contact with duck waste.
