Global leaders converge in Henan to craft new cooperation blueprint

The 2024 Cooperation and Exchange Conference between Henan Province and Multinational Corporations is being held in Zhengzhou, Henan province from Sept 24 to 26.

This gathering has attracted foreign envoys in China, representatives of international organizations, top executives of multinationals in China and representatives from noted investment promotion organizations and chambers of commerce, showcasing Henan's commitment to openness and collaboration on the global stage.

Alongside discussions and exchanges, three matchmaking activities have been arranged for companies based in Henan and multinationals, focusing on modern medicine, food and new energy.

The conference witnessed the signing of 46 investment and trade cooperation agreements, valued at a substantial 33.58 billion yuan ($4.79 billion), spanning sectors such as new materials, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing. These pivotal agreements were ceremoniously sealed on-site, underscoring the tangible outcomes of the conference's concerted efforts.
