Amidst a gentle drizzle, the delegation first explored the majestic Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, a towering structure dating back over 900 years to the Liao Dynasty (916-1125). Admiring its intricate design and historical significance, members marveled at its craftsmanship, which has withstood the test of time.

Venturing further, the delegation arrived at the Hanging Temple perched on the cliffs of Hengshan Mountain, boasting a history of over 1,500 years since its construction during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534).

The Hanging Temple is a remarkable feat of ancient engineering that has preserved its grandeur and mystique throughout the centuries. Regarded as one of Hengshan Mountain's 18 scenic wonders and praised by the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) traveler Xu Xiake as a "spectacle of the world", the temple left a lasting impression on the visitors.

Encountering fellow international travelers during their exploration, the delegation engaged in cultural exchanges. Kazakh journalist Slivinskaya Anastassiya conversed in Spanish with a Chilean couple, sharing their awe of climbing the Hanging Temple and their profound admiration for Chinese architectural wonders.

Exploring Shanxi's ancient treasures felt like a voyage through time. The day's journey allowed the delegation to appreciate the unique charm of Chinese architectural heritage and the enduring legacy of ancient wisdom embedded in Chinese civilization.

The "International Insights into China" event was guided by the Cyberspace Administration of China's network communication bureau and co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Cyberspace Administration of Shanxi Province, and the China Daily Website.
