Yucun village transforms after years of devevlopment

Campsite converted from abandoned mine, library converted from old cement factory – Yucun village in East China's Zhejiang province has transformed after years of green development. The village has been developing its tourism industry by relying on its favorable ecological environment, creating distinctive homestays and agricultural products that provide more diverse employment opportunities for locals. In 2022, the village also launched a global partners program to attract young people to work and live there. A community of young talent has also been established to encourage entrepreneurship, and the local government built a series of facilities to meet both their work and daily needs. This initiative has not only offered more opportunities for youth to showcase their talents but also injected fresh vitality into the local area.
