LONGi sets new world records
LONGi Green Energy Technology Co announced two technological breakthroughs at the 18th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition, which was held in Shanghai from June 11 to 13.
Breaking two world records for photovoltaic efficiency marks a significant milestone, demonstrating that China's photovoltaic technology remains at the forefront globally.

LONGi breaks two world records for photovoltaic efficiency.
The 260.9 cm² large-area crystalline silicon perovskite dual-end stacked solar cell, developed by LONGi, has a conversion efficiency of 33 percent, breaking the global record for large-area stacked cell efficiency. This battery has nearly 20 percent improved efficiency compared to single-junction silicon cells, thanks to material and structural innovations, opening up a new path for reducing the cost of photovoltaic power generation.
The efficiency of BC battery modules has exceeded 26 percent, once again rewriting the efficiency record of crystalline silicon modules, highlighting its outstanding back-contact battery technology, and pushing the efficiency of crystalline silicon modules toward the 27 percent limit.
As a technological transformation leader in the photovoltaic industry, LONGi has built a comprehensive research and development system covering materials, equipment, and processes.
The two world records set by LONGi have been included in the latest 66th edition of the "Solar Cell Efficiency Table", which is recognized as the "gold standard" for advancing photovoltaic technology since 1993.
