Wuzhong and Payariq establish international friendly city-district relationship

On Dec 14, Wuzhong city in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, China, and Payariq district, Samarqand, Uzbekistan, signed a memorandum on establishing an international friendly city-district relationship.

Samarqand is the second-largest city in Uzbekistan, acting as a renowned ancient city and a center for tourism and culture in Central Asia. It has also played a crucial role as a hub along the Silk Road, earning the reputation of the "pearl of the ancient Silk Road."

Payariq in the Samarkand region has high-tech factories, technology parks, manufacturing plants, technology parks, and production enterprises, showing enormous potential in developing its industrial complex. In terms of agricultural production and tourism, it also possesses excellent natural and geographical conditions, offering vast development prospects.

Going forward, Wuzhong and Payariq will engage in various forms of exchange and cooperation in agriculture, economy, trade, technology, education, culture, tourism, and other areas to promote mutual prosperity and development.
