On the evening of Aug 10, the "Enjoy a Summer of Wine in Ningxia" Wine Tasting Season kicked off at Music Square in Yuecai City, in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

With the theme "Savor Fine Wine, Meet in Beautiful Yinchuan", the event spans major scenic spots and key commercial areas in Yinchuan from Aug 9 until October.

It creatively blends entertainment, music, delicacies and wine culture through a grand opening ceremony and eight sub-venues across the city, offering visitors from all over China a unique experience that combines fine wine, gourmet food, stunning scenery and performances.

At the Jingde Night Market sub-venue, visitors can indulge in a delightful feast of Ningxia wines paired with local specialties, complemented by passionate musical performances.

Lanshan Park’s terraced platform offers wine by the glass, bottle and oak barrel. Guests can savor the beautiful scenery and mellow wines through activities like "Toast to the Helan Mountains", "Explore Lanshan, Savor Wine, and Admire the Sunset". Creative wine-based drinks and red wine are also for sale on site.

At Yuehai Bay Water Park, visitors can visit the romantic beach, taste and buy red wine, and enjoy a relaxed urban leisure experience.

Wine displays and free tastings, complemented by local gourmet food and wine on sale, are also on offer at the Exhibition Center's indoor venue.

Yinchuan Cultural City presents the "Enjoy Ningxia, Savor the Flavor" Youth Culinary Event that combines wine and barbecue, offering a comprehensive one-stop experience of fine wine and gourmet food, including tasting, exchanging, retailing, and trading.

The Huaiyuan Sightseeing Night Market hosts a wine and food market that integrates displaying, tasting, experiencing, and selling, highlighting special discounts on wine and sizzling grilled steak.

In front of the Wine Museum in Manpu Town, a wine display and tasting corridor is set up, along with wine culture performances (short plays, sketches), and other creative interactive activities.

In addition, famous restaurants and major wineries participating in the event simultaneously launch wine pairing menus and special discount wines as part of the Wine Tasting Season, inviting tourists and locals alike to enjoy the pleasure of wine, food, and scenic beauty.

This Wine Tasting Season aims to comprehensively promote the characteristics and development of the Ningxia Helan Mountains’ East Foothill Wine Region, working towards establishing Ningxia as the "World's Wine Capital". By emphasizing wine consumption, the event seeks to broaden the cultural reach and market presence of Helan Mountains’ East Foothill wine and advance the integrated development of wine tourism.

As a key event of the Fourth China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo, this Wine Tasting Season is hosted by the People's Government of Yinchuan Municipality and the Administrative Committee of the Ningxia Helan Mountains’ East Foothill Wine Industry Park, and co-organized by the Yinchuan Wine Industry Development Service Center, the People’s Government of Xingqing District, the People’s Government of Jinfeng District, and the People’s Government of Xixia District.
