Ningxia Art Museum officially opened to the public on December 26, providing people a good place for art appreciation and education, and holiday leisure. The museum gives visitors the chance to view some exquisite works of art.

Representatives from relevant departments of Ningxia, experts and scholars from walks of life including cultural circles, academia and the press, as well as members of the public were present for the opening.

Ningxia Art Museum is an open, comprehensive, multi-functional and digital art museum integrating collection, exhibition, research and education. Located in the north of Dalian Road and east of Ning'an Street, Jinfeng District, Yinchuan, the museum covers an area of 30,000 square meters, with a total of 320 million yuan invested. The design of the museum integrates the cultural image of Helan Mountain, with digital and modern characteristics.

The museum has 10 exhibition halls of about 500 square meters and a variety of supporting functional facilities. It has become an important platform and window for displaying Ningxia culture and art. Ningxia Art Museum focuses on the people's expectations for a better life and diversified, multi-level and multifaceted needs of art museum culture, and creates a comfortable, thoughtful and convenient service environment for the visitors.

A large number of well-known artists enthusiastically donated their works to Ningxia Art Museum. Ningxia Art Museum issued them collection certificates.

Five major exhibitions are taking place to mark the opening of the museum under the theme "Beautiful New Ningxia", highlighting artworks about the Long March spirit, Yellow River culture, the 21 scenic sites of Ningxia, Ningxia art history and culture, and renowned artist Zeng Xingfei.

"High Tower and Long Water" — Long March Spirit Fine Art Exhibition of the National Art Museum of China shows artists presenting their works followed the trails of the Red Army in the Long March. Through various art forms, the artists vividly shaped the spirit of heroism displayed by the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and the masses.

"Ode to the Yellow River" — Yellow River Culture Exhibition of the China National Academy of Painting (CNAP) brings together nearly 100 excellent Yellow River theme works created by top artists from CNAP and nine provinces and districts along the Yellow River. Realistic theme works and free sketch paintings, using grand create practices, show us the spirit of striving and pioneering of the Yellow River in the new era.

"Beautiful New Ningxia" — The 21 Scenic Sites of Ningxia Creation Exhibition exhibits more than 200 on-the-spot sketch works of the "21 scenic sites of Ningxia". Through three thematic units of "Eternity", "Coexistence of Life" and "Pulse of the Times", the exhibition leads the visitors to appreciate the depth and thickness of Ningxia's long history and culture, and touch the pulse of Ningxia's vigorous development in the new era.

"Inspiration and Inheritance" — Ningxia Museum of Literature and History and Ningxia Art Museum Collection Exhibition shows excellence collection of the two museums. Through two sections "Ancient Rhyme of the North" and "New Style of Ink Painting", the exhibition vividly reveals the development of Ningxia's art career and the profound heritage of cultural inheritance.

"Bright as Crimson Cloud" — Zeng Xingfei Artworks Exhibition is based on renowned Ningxia artist Zeng Xingfei's works, and introduces her life path and artistic achievements through more than 150 works. The exhibition shows her outstanding contributions to the fine arts industry in Ningxia.
