In 2024, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, followed the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee and the regional government, actively changed the development concept and made efforts in improving both supply and demand. The efforts had seen the vitality of literary and artistic creation and production significantly enhanced, the supply of products continuously enriched, industrial integration continuously improved, the structural proportion continuously optimized, the brand value continuously highlighted, and the consumption potential of cultural and tourism  continuously released. The tourism market of the whole region demonstrated a steady and good trend of continuous growth. A preliminary forecast suggests that, in 2024, the region would receive about 80 million domestic tourists and tourism revenue of 72.5 billion yuan, which is expected to increase by 14.2 and 11.3 percent respectively compared with a year earlier.
