The public ski invitational competition for the nine provinces of the Yellow River Basin was successfully held in Yahao International Ski Resort in Jingyuan city, Ningxia on Feb 16. Attracting 223 skiers from 11 provinces and cities in Hebei, Shanxi, Gansu, Shaanxi, Shandong, and Qinghai, the event featured alpine skiing giant slalom and snowboard giant slalom competitions.

The event began after a short and enthusiastic opening ceremony on the morning of Feb 16. The skiers carved up the snow and skied round and round, showcasing their skiing skills and combatant spirit. This competition is one of the series of activities of Ningxia ice and snow sports in the 11th National Public Ice and Snow Season, aiming to promote the popularization of ice and snow sports, activate the vitality of ice and snow economy, and create a good atmosphere for the public to participate in ice and snow sports.

The successful holding of the event not only provides a platform for skiing enthusiasts in the nine provinces of the Yellow River Basin to communicate and compete with each other, but also promotes the popularization and development of public ice and snow sports.
