The opening ceremony of "XYZ — Inaugural Ningxia Sculpture Exhibition" was held at Ningxia Art Museum in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region on February 22. Ningxia Art Museum (Ningxia Calligraphy and Painting Academy) launched the exhibition together with Ningxia Artists Association, the School of Fine Arts of Ningxia University, the School of Design Art of North Minzu University, and the School of Fine Arts of Ningxia Normal University. The exhibition aims to showcase the style of Ningxia sculpture artists, build a platform for exchange and communication, promote the diversified development and influence of sculpture art, and introduce the best products of the times.

Sculpture art not only probes historical memory and cultural accumulation, but also shows humanity's eternal pursuit of beauty and understanding of the world with its unique form and materials. For this exhibition, Ningxia Art Museum collected sculpture works from the whole region. As of February 5, the museum had received a total of 103 works for evaluation and 55 of them passed the evaluation to be showcased at the exhibition.

With the curatorial concept of "XYZ", the exhibition introduces the concept of the coordinate system in mathematics into the field of art, aiming to explore more possibilities for sculpture as space art. The exhibition is on display in Hall 1 of Ningxia Art Museum. People from all walks of life are welcomed to visit the exhibition.
