Ningxia's cultural and tourism market has been booming this summer, with tourism services upgraded across the region.
One major attraction — the Ningxia Museum — welcomed nearly12,000 visitors daily, offering professional guided tours while maintaining smooth operations.
To meet the increasing demand, popular sites like the Shapotou Desert, Zhenbeibao Western Film Lot, and the Helan Mountain rock art site extended their opening hours, while sites such as Jinsha Island even launched night tours.
Transportation services have also been upgraded: Yinchuan increased bus and shuttle services to popular destinations, while several government offices and scenic spots provided free parking on holidays.
To improve the service quality, the Yellow River Grand Canyon tourism area has introduced rapid response services, including one-hour lost item recovery and 10-minute complaint resolution. Shahu Lake scenic area demonstrated exceptional safety management by swiftly activating emergency protocols during severe weather conditions.
Another highlight is Ningxia's integration of cultural heritage with modern innovation. Following the successful World Heritage listing of the Western Xia Mausoleums, digital displays are now bringing ancient relics directly to the public.

Furthermore, a ticket to the Lanshan Mountain Music Festival also serves as a transit pass, a discount voucher, and an admission ticket to designated attractions. This single ticket connects dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, demonstrating the so-called ticket economy that is currently boosting the city's industrial vitality.
