For the upcoming eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Ningxia Hui autonomous region has rolled out 212 events for citizens and visitors to have fun there.

At the Xixia Imperial Tombs, song and dance performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, flower bed displays, and other activities will showcase the site's historical and cultural charm. The site will also offer a package discount for visitors who want to visit on both National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival.

During the holiday, the 5th Morning Tea Food Culture Festival will be held, with Niujiafang folk culture village in Litong district, Wuzhong being its main venue. Forty branch venues will also be set up at famous Chinese restaurants, morning tea restaurants, and brand rural homestays in the urban area, allowing visitors to enjoy renowned Wuzhong morning tea.

Running lovers from all over the country can participate in the 21-km half marathon and the 8.8-km health run in Pengyang county, Guyuan city on Oct 2, where they can appreciate the terraced fields stacked on top of each other.

At Yinchuan Theater, an original performance Raising a Toast to Helan Mountain combing music, dance, poetry and drama will be performed during the holiday. Adding to the fun, people can also encounter wine markets.
