The Joint Employee Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition in 21 Cities (Ningxia Hui autonomous region station) is being held from Oct 28 to Nov 9 at the Ningxia Workers' Cultural Palace, aiming to strengthen the consensus of the Chinese national community and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
The exhibition showcases 223 excellent works from 21 cities, including Shanghai, Nanjing, and Xiamen, demonstrating participating employees' profound skills and unique creativity.
A Century of the Chinese Labor Movement, which is valuable in both practical significance and artistic value, is also exhibited, captivating visitors with its grand narrative style and exquisite painting skills.
An art troupe from the cultural palace made brilliant performances at the opening ceremony, including the opuscula The Most Beautiful Employee, as well as singing, dancing, and poem reading. An interactive printmaking activity at the exhibition is also particularly designed for visitors.
To promote the exhibition, the cultural palace will hold interactive activities on Nov 1-2 and Nov 8-9, including parent-child sand painting and plaster painting. Each activity has 100 free entries for employees.
This event boosts development of employees' cultural courses and builds a bridge of cultural exchanges and cooperation among different cities.
