Experience charm of Ningxia in Fujian

More than 20 enterprises from the Ningxia Hui autonomous region promoted their cultural and tourism products at the 16th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF), a four-day event which concluded in Xiamen, Southeast China's Fujian province, on Nov 2.

The Ningxia exhibition area, occupying an area of 220 square meters, received over 100,000 visits and many orders and cooperation intentions during the period, furthering enhancing the cooperation between Ningxia and Fujian in the integration of culture and tourism.

Ningxia's exhibition area made use of colors such as desert gold, grape purple, and wolfberry red to represent the area's rich natural resources, while also integrating cultural and tourism concepts such as "World Wine Capital" and "World Cultural Heritage Site" into the exhibition space.

The region's products became a hit and attracted the attention of many visitors. Wine from the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains, Zhongning goji berry, and eight-treasure tea treated visitors while sand painting, hemp weaving, and dough sculpture showed the cultural charm of the region.

The cultural and creative products from the Ningxia Museum transformed cultural symbols such as the Xixia Imperial Tombs and Helan Mountains rock paintings into trendy toys, which proved popular among young people.

Ningxia's participation emphasized the integration of display, promotion, and communication. Ningxia Performing Arts Group, for example, offered special dance performances to the audience, vividly telling the story of Ningxia.
