The 2025 Qinqiang Opera Performance for Consumption Promotion via Agri-Culture-Tourism Integration recently kicked off in Yuanzhou district, Guyuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

With the famous Anwan Troupe making splendid performances at the Xumi Mountain Scenic Area, this innovative event integrates traditional arts with modern operations, breaking the off-season slump.

During the event, the scenic area received more than 10,000 visitors, increasing nearly 10-fold compared to the same period in previous years.

The event's local specialties zone featured over 20 products, including the healthy grains of Yuanzhou quinoa and exquisite handicrafts of Yuanzhou embroidery, which saw explosive growth in sales.

As of the end of the event, the trade volume of local products and cuisines has topped 300,000 yuan ($42,000), driving the surrounding tourist flow and trade volume to more than double.

The event was also live streamed online, with the total number of viewers exceeding 50 million, attracting visitors from Shaanxi, Gansu and other provinces.
