Preparations for the Second Flower Expo Park Shanhai Lantern Festival are currently underway, aiming to provide locals and tourists with a richer winter cultural experience.

This year's lantern festival will be held in the China Flower Expo Park in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region from the end of December to March 8. During major festivals such as New Year's Day, Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival, seven themed activity chapters will be launched, featuring band performances and lantern riddles.

This year's event will carry forward the mythological theme inspired by The Classic of Mountains and Rivers, an ancient Chinese text, combining digital technology with local folk elements.

Besides maintaining the artistic beauty of traditional lanterns, the design will also incorporate interactive themed light areas, presenting mythological stories through modern lighting technology.

One highlight is that the park will develop a 1-kilometer cultural lantern corridor, showcasing immersive landscapes such as "Eastern Mythology" and "Interstellar Galaxy" while introducing technological features such as interactive lighting displays and digital projections to enhance visitors' enjoyment.
