The Yinchuan section of the Yellow River experienced a stunning morning light on Nov 23. The sunrise casts a golden glow along the curved, beautiful river, while the deep blue sky and clear water surface complement each other.

Behind the scenic scenery, Yinchuan's ongoing efforts in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region aim to promote the Yellow River over the years.

The city has strengthened the ecological security barrier of the Yellow River through various measures, including the targeted classification and rectification of sewage outlets that enter the main stream of the Yellow River.

Nowadays, the Ningxia segment of the Yellow River has sustained Class II water quality for eight years straight. Meanwhile, the Yinchuan segment has been recognized as one of the top excellent cases of beautiful rivers and lakes by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
