This year's winter tourism promotion campaign in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, titled "Enjoy the Sunshine in Ningxia during Winter Travel", will last until March next year.

This was announced at a press conference on winter tourism promotion consumption activity held on Nov 20.

Featuring five activity themes — ice and snow sports, study and practice, food and health, folk culture, and trendy experiences, the region will launch diverse winter tourism products and consumption scenes with rich levels and multiple highlights.

Over 270 unique activities will be held across the entire region and will last throughout the winter season.

For instance, it will promote 71 professional and popular ice and snow themed activities in places such as the Yuehai Ski Resort and the Yahao Ski Resort, covering ice and snow events, skiing experiences, ice fishing and winter fishing, parent-child snow scenes, and ice and snow photography.

Trendy experiences will introduce 15 special events such as a New Year's Eve celebration, night light show, and land art, helping Ningxia's tourism industry become more youth-friendly and increasing the quality of its offerings.
