Xixia district of Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, has implemented a batch of urban micro renewal projects, transforming spots along six old streets into "pocket parks".
Adhering to the concept of developing small but refined and beautiful spaces, the projects have carried out personalized renovation based on the characteristics of different areas without major demolition and construction.

Around the Huaiyuan Campus of Ningxia University, the originally monotonous road greening has been infused with artistic atmosphere, with bright colors, romantic cherry blossom elements, and fun interactive installations adding youthful vitality to the entrance of the university.
Spaces along Beijing West Road and the south of Xingzhou Street have undergone significant changes, with former water ditches turned into trampolines and a beautiful rain garden.

These scattered "micro happiness areas" are connecting the new urban landscape of Xixia district, which is more livable, tourist friendly, and business friendly than never.
