Yinchuan Hedong International Airport plans to operate an average of 216 flights per day, an increase of 8 percent year-on year, during the winter fight season from Oct 26 to March 28, 2026.
It has also opened air routes to 10 new cities, launched two convenient services, and offered various benefits.
New waypoints include Altay, Yi’ning, Hami prefecture, Karamay, Kashgar, Tangshan, Huizhou, Yichang, Dalian, and Hanzhong, allowing tourists to enjoy smooth travel from more cities to Ningxia.
Flights from 14 key tourist resource cities, including Haikou, Chengdu and Hangzhou have also been increased, while flight schedules to Guangzhou and Shanghai have been optimized to provide great flexibility for tourists.
Additionally, a hub flight network has connected Yinchuan with eight cities, including Beijing and Shanghai, each with an average of over five flights per day. Alongside regular international and regional routes to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong, the city has formulated an extensive and smooth flight network, catering to travelers' demands.
The "air-to-air transfer" service offers each tourist transferring at the airport a direct discount of up to 150 yuan ($21), a catering voucher for Ningxia delicacies, and free accommodation or transportation services depending on the specific duration.
