As May 19 marks China Tourism Day, the Ningxia Hui autonomous region offers locals and tourists a vibrant cultural tourism experience.

The Qingtongxia Yellow River Grand Canyon Tourist Area, a national 5A-level scenic area in Wuzhong city, and the Xumi Mountain tourism area in Guyuan city, renowned for its grotto art and natural scenery, are offering visitors free admission. The Mingcui Lake National Wetland Park scenic area is doing the same for contestants participating in the 2026 Mengniu Ningxia Yinchuan Marathon.

The Liupan Mountain National Forest Park, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 80 percent, has launched a special ticket and scenic transportation package for only 40 yuan ($5.88), 50 yuan cheaper than the original price.

Meanwhile, the Aiyi Lavender Manor in Yinchuan city is offering half-price admission tickets. Visitors can pick mulberries for free, with a limit of 0.5 kilograms per person.
