In Zhongwei, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, a new wave of tourist attractions has quietly emerged. These innovative scenes blend the natural beauty of the desert with unique cultural and recreational experiences, offering visitors an unforgettable adventure.

The Molian Desert Museum debuted among the undulating sand dunes on May 1. Without leveling any sand dunes, the gray concrete buildings naturally "grow" along the terrain trend.

This 1.04-hectare art space showcases contemporary artworks related to Northwest China, desert and nomadism, creating a dialogue between art and nature.

Hidden deep in the Tengger Desert, there is the first library built in Ningxia. There are nearly 10,000 books in this building, and it is planned to load 40,000 books.

The library is open 24 hours a day, and you can always open the door and flip through a few pages, or snuggle into the sofa in the reading hall to watch a desert sunset.

In 2024, Zhongwei launched a new cultural and tourism IP called "Qing Chun Mo Mo Da", aimed at the young population. The four themed campsites have a total of 1,018 tents, with supporting activities such as desert exploration, starry sky concerts, bonfire parties, stargazing lectures, desert music festivals, and markets.
