The flight AQ1276 operated by 9 Air departed from Singapore's Changi Airport, transited via Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, and landed at Yinchuan Hedong International Airport in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on Aug 11.

This marks the start of regular operations for the Singapore-Guangzhou-Yinchuan international transit route, with Ningxia hosting its first inbound Singaporean tourist group since the route's launch.

The 35 tourists from Singapore arrived in Yinchuan on this maiden flight to embark on a 7-day, 6-night trip to Ningxia.

The newly opened route will be operated by a Boeing 737 and will run on a daily round-trip basis. The outbound flight will depart from Singapore in the early morning, transit through Guangzhou, and arrive in Yinchuan before noon. The return will leave Yinchuan in the afternoon, continue through Guangzhou, and arrive in Singapore the following morning.

The launch of this route has built an efficient air bridge between Ningxia and Singapore, opening a new page for cultural and tourism exchanges between the two regions.
