This Teachers' Day, Ningxia Hui autonomous region has launched special tour discounts for people with a teaching qualification certificate.

From Sept 10 to 13, those holding such documents and a personal identification card can enjoy a ticket fee of 50 yuan ($7.45) at Zhenbeipu Western Film Studio. The studio is also a national 5A-level tourist attraction, with over a hundred film and television works having been shot here.

For the whole of September, Chinese in-service and retired teachers can also enjoy free admission to Liupanshan National Forest Park and Wild Lotus Valley Scenic Area by presenting their teacher qualification certificate and ID card, embarking on a pleasant autumn mountain and wilderness trip.

Meanwhile, the Helan Mountain Rock Painting Scenic Area is offering teachers half-price discounts on admission tickets on Teachers' Day. The scenic area will carry out a theme-based activity on this special occasion, inviting teachers to have fun day out.

Haba Lake in Yanchi, Wuzhong, is also offering free admission to teachers on Teachers' Day. The lake is a highly recommended starry sky destination by China StarVision Alliance.
