Yinchuan's Yuehai Bay: A beloved local destination

Yuehai Bay may officially be a national 4A-level tourist attraction, but for Yinchuan residents, it's also part of everyday life — a place for weekend walks, family outings and simply relaxing.

Covering 1,739 hectares, Yuehai Bay has four different areas. Yuehai National Wetland Park offers people the chance to enjoy the wild, Yuehai Water Park offers water recreation, Lanshan Park is a great place to watch the sunset, and Yinchuan Flower Expo Park offers stunning flowers year-round.

Yuehai National Wetland Park features expansive reed beds and open water, providing an important green space within Yinchuan. A lakeside greenway offers routes for walking and cycling.

Yuehai Water Park offers a range of waterside activities, with its beach particularly popular with families and children.

Lanshan Park is known as the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in Yinchuan and offers stunning views of the city skyline.

As you ascend the stairs, the fan-shaped open-air theater suddenly opens up, with a close-up view of the shimmering waves of Yuehai Lake and a distant view of the majestic Helan Mountains.

Yinchuan Flower Expo Park has eight flower viewing areas, with nine categories of flowers and trees such as peonies, roses, and water lilies. By strategically arranging flowers and vegetation in different seasons, there are flowers to enjoy and scenery to appreciate all year round here.
